ePass2003

ePass2003 by EnterSafe is a client software package and driver suite designed for EnterSafe’s ePass2003 USB cryptographic tokens. It enables secure, hardware‑backed digital identity for authentication, encryption, and electronic signatures in desktop applications and online services. By keeping private keys inside the token and performing cryptographic operations on the device, ePass2003 helps protect credentials against malware and unauthorized export.

Key features:

• Hardware‑secured key storage: Private keys remain on the token; cryptographic operations are performed on‑device.
• Standards‑based integration: Provides interfaces commonly used by applications, such as PKCS#11 and Microsoft CSP/CNG (availability may vary by version and OS).
• Certificate management: Supports on‑token key generation, certificate import, and viewing of token information.
• PIN and security controls: Configure or change user PINs, manage retry counters, and initialize tokens as permitted by policy.
• Broad application support: Works with software that relies on standard cryptographic interfaces, including browsers, email and document signing tools, and enterprise identity solutions.

Typical uses include secure login to government or enterprise portals, signing PDFs and emails, and protecting sensitive transactions that require certificate‑based identity. For supported operating systems, versions, and specific interface availability, refer to the official EnterSafe release notes for your ePass2003 package.
